Rosalyn LaFone is a Tri-State Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist, and Beauty Photographer. She is based out of South Plainfield New Jersey where she works out of her LaFone VIP studio. Specializing in natural hair care, silk press, makeup application, and hair extensions. She has experience with all hair types and loves to brings out the beauty in each individual client's textured personality! Rosalyn takes pride in being an all natural, no chemical hair stylist. With her own line of natural hair products (LaFone Cares) she wanted each and every client to feel great about providing the right nutrition to every strand of hair they have. When it comes to makeup application Rosalyn is well known for her Flawless Natural applications. Makeup is made to enhance the natural beauty that you already have. She has done makeup for reality stars, worked on run way models, photo shoot, weddings, and video/film.
Her Story is unique just by itself. Rosalyn was born to have a career in the beauty industry. Just at the tender age of 9 she started doing her own hair with weave ponytails. She had her first adult client (her big sister age 30) at age 10, her sister has never let anyone else touch her hair since. Rosalyn's father has always believed in her dream. He brought a hair chair and set up a small shop right in his basement, where she would do all the little girl's hair in the neighborhood. At age 16 she went to work in a shop as a shampoo girl, she loved it. Learned so much about how to run a shop, take care of client's needs, and how important consultations are. In 2013 she took a huge jump and decided to work from home after being in and out of salons. This was the best choice Rosalyn could have made. Her clients love the VIP treatment, no wait time, and one on one care. Today Rosalyn LaFone is a very successful stylist who takes pride in making women look and feel beautiful.
